Lying in the shade was a fairly large Gray and white cat. It was oddly colored. Sticking out like a sore paw. Looking as if dead or asleep. It sat up. Alone in the world. He Looked around, it was a beautiful sunny day. Few clouds dotted the sky. The gray tom stood up. It was time for him to move on to another location. He sighed before starting his journey. His thoughts had been clouded lately about finding a mate, but to no prevail. He had met some, but they run off when they hear his past. His thoughts wandered off. On to what he would do next, or where he should stay over the night. He was thinking so much he forgot to watch where he was going, and walked right into a tree. The tom stumbled back. Embarrassment made his pelt hot. Looking around he decided that there was no cat to see him, and continued on his walk.

Fang strolled along the territory freely, with a mouse dangling lifelessly between her jaws. The sunlight shined on her silvery tabby pelt and made every single hair glow. The she-cat's paws scraped against the rough, hardened earth as she padded around pointlessly. She heard a noise, and turned her head to see the source. Fang held in a purr as she watched a tom bump against a tree trunk, and started to pad over to him. As the rouge observed the tom, she noticed that he had a very... interesting coloured pelt. "Hello, my name is Fang, what's your name?" Even Fang herself was surprised at her actions. Usually the rouge would be very hostile towards another rouge, but it seems like this time, it's an exception. She was looking for a mate, and this tom seemed like a good choice. The she-cat decided that she would see how he would respond first and then decide.

The gray white tom looked at the rogue for a moment. "My names Bones." He made himself comfortable by sitting down. He normally wouldnt bother doing anything, after all the other cats normally leave quickly. Then, remembering what he had just done, "You by chance didn't see what just happened...did you?" He was sure that no other cat saw him, but he has been wrong before. The she-cat was quite pretty, but she would probably run away after hearing his past. He gave a small sigh.

"Well..." The grey she-cat debated whether to tell the tom or not, and finally decided that it's not necessary to embarrass him anymore. "What are you talking about? Anyways... Bones..." Fang's sentence trailed off once again as she thought that the name suited the tom quite well, but she snapped back to reality and sat down next to Bones. She caught sight of the mouse the she left on the ground on the corner of her eye, and nosed it towards him. "Do you want to share?" Fang suddenly shook her head. Why am I acting like this? The tabby she-cat scolded herself silently for being so friendly towards a stranger that she had never met before, but she made no attempt to correct her current personality.

Bones was surprised at how nice this cat was being toward him. "Uh..If you knew what I have done, you wouldn't be around me" He didn't notice before but it almost sounded like a threat. "I'm not trying to be mean, but I have done some bad things long ago. It's probably better you stay away like all the others....."[/i] It hurt a bit, but she was to pretty of a cat to be around him.

Fang purred, finally someone that also had a sad past like her! "What did you do? I'm sure it wasn't anything very serious, but who cares? We're rouges, after all. We're suppose to kill to survive." Even though she didn't care much about what happened, she still looked at him with curious eyes and her ears were perked.

Bones was surprised. There was actually a cat who didn't care in the world?"You really don't care? Well I guess your right, but most cats act like thay have never done it before." Saying that made him realize that he wasn't the one that was wrong, but the other cats. He smiled knowing that. His smile quickly dissapeared. The gray tom surprised himself. He had never smiled before.

The grey tabby thought that she had caught a glance of a tiny smile appear on the corner of the tom's muzzle, but it disappeared almost as fast as it had appeared. She squinted her eyes and looked again, almost certain that there was a trace of a smile. Why am I getting so worked up over a tiny smile? Shaking her head to clear the thought, Fang stood up and stretched her legs, the sunlight shining on them to make the soft, silvery fur covered with a gentle glow. As she moved, shadows danced around on her pelt and she turned her head towards Bones. "Do you want to come hunting with me?" Fang looked at the tom and hoped that he would accept her offer.

Bones was intrigued with this cat. She didn't act like any of the others, so surely there had to be something that makes this cat 'tick'. He thought for a moment. 'I don't see why not.' "OK, sure."[/b] he stood up shaking his oddly colored pelt. Another thing that this cat hadn't brought up was his pelt. All the cats he's met have mentioned it in some way. 'Oh well, its not that importiant.' Looking at her with gray expressionless eyes. "Where do you want to hunt then?"

Fang pondered for a moment, searching for a good place with lot's of prey. Her yellow gaze rested on a spot in the forest a few foxlengths from here, and it seemed to be rich with prey. Turning her head back to Bones, Fang mewed, "How about there? It seems like there's a lot of prey." She flicked her tail swiftly to that direction, and a thrush flew out as if to prove her point. ooc// I was thinking that maybe a fox or something can attack them while they were hunting, and then... I don't know ^^

OOC: Works with me 83
The gray tom nodded."Ok." He walked slowly toward the area that was pointed out. Bones looked around. There was alot of prey scurring around in the bushes. He carefully crouched into position. It was nearly flawles as he had alot of experiance, but it was different because he taught it to himself. He got ready to spring, until something in a nearby bush scared it away. This was not something small that could have made that kind of noise. He looked in the direction it came from, seeing nothing. He backed up, still crouched. "What was that?"[/i] He breathed.

Fang observed Bones as the grey and white tom crouched into a hunting crouch, and couldn't help but notice how simple he made it seem with lots of experience. However, this did not amaze Fang for she was a quite experienced hunter herself. The tabby she-cat watched intently as the tom got ready to spring, but she flinched as the noise in the bushes almost at the exact moment as him. Her thoughts were interrupted, and her hostile gaze rested uncomfortably on the bushes. "I don't know, but it might be a fox or maybe just a scarily big rabbit." Fang didn't really count on it being a rabbit, and her hind muscles tightened in case she needed to make a dash for it.
Suddenly, something sharp dug into the feline's back paws as she took a step backwards. Frustrated, Fang tried to pull the sharp object out. She struggled for a bit, but finally managed to succeed in getting the thorn out. The silver tabby delicately put her hind paws on the ground to test it, but winced as some sand and rocks pressed onto her wound. Then remembering to keep her eyes on the bushes, Fang forgot about the pain and focused intently on the group of rustling leaves.

Bones quickly looked back to make sure she was fine, and turned his attention back to the now dark figure forming behind a pair of yellow eyes. They burned wiith a rage unknown to him. in a flash a fox jumped out trying to pin down the tom. He quickly dodged but only by a hair. He hissed while carfully circleing his enemy. he jumped at the fox only able to reach it's side. He hissed again, his fur standing on end. Why did this have to come now?

Copying Bones, the tabby she-cat circled around the fox, too. Her back was arched and the corner of Fang's mouth pulled up, turning into a menacing snare. Her yellow eyes were full of hostility and anger. As she stopped and watched the fox intensely, the silver she-cat thought for a moment before coming up with a plan that could possibly work, but it's a bit risky.
Turning her head towards the grey and white tom for a second, Fang told him her plan. "Bones, do you think you can keep it distracted while I jump on it's back?" Then, she experimentally slashed out a unsheathed paw to see how the fox would react. It growled back, a low rumble coming from it's throat.

Bones nodded, "I could try. Maybe if you pretend to run away and hide in a bush it might focus on me."[/i] he wasn't used to fighting with another cat, but it was nice to know he wasn't alone this time. Lashing his paw out at the fiend, claws unsheathed. The fox snapped at him keeping a close eye on both cats. It backed up some so that it could see them better. Bones thought for a moment. "You could also climb a tree and jump on top of it.[/i] He said quickly. His eyes glowed with excitment.
